AFSA--Proposed Universal Health Care Plan

All of us have heard and read varying aspects concerning a proposed
universal health care plan and the ancillary rumors that swirled on how it
will affect our military members and their families, retired or currently
serving. Today, I sent a strong personally addressed letter to every U.S.
Senator about their REMOVAL of the exemption of our military medical care
from their recently passed S1728 version. The House bill exempted our
military from any proposals and the Senate initially agreed with that;
however, S1728 reveals otherwise.
You are encouraged to follow our lead on contacting the Senate and voice
your objection to this exclusion to your respective Senators. This is
critical before the House and Senate reconvene and negotiate a final
version for signature by President Obama.
A copy of our letter to every senator is attached for your perusal.
Respectfully,
JOHN R. "DOC" McCAUSLIN, CMSgt, USAF, Retired AFSA, Chief Executive Officer
