Happy Birthday AFSA!

A message from CMSgt (ret) John McCauslin, CEO of AFSA.

Fifty years ago today (May 3, 1961), a few enlisted men put their passion for a voice in Congress to work and as Margaret Mead once said: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can make a difference."

The creditability and integrity of YOUR Association in Congress has not waivered a bit and my meeting yesterday with Congressman Tim Walz reflected the respect that members of Congress have for AFSA. He has assured me in front of his entire staff that he will "fight till the end" for repeal of SBP-DIC Offset. He will also send this week, a tasking to DOD regarding the TYA (TRICARE for Young Adults) asking "when, how, and who screwed up."

We value your past, present, and future service to America, your membership, and your volunteerism. God Bless America and fifty years of the Air Force Sergeants Association.
