On Friday, 4 December 2009, AFSA Chapter 951 visited the Michael J. Fitzmaurice South Dakota Veterans Home.

On Friday, 4 December 2009, AFSA Chapter 951 visited the Michael J. Fitzmaurice South Dakota Veterans Home. 36 Chapter members visited, helped decorate, and sing Christmas carols with the residents. The Veteran's home currently has 135 residents.
